“We want to provide opportunities for our players at the highest level, and continue to build our programs one player at a time,” he said.

We're all about providing opportunities to the grassroots players to reach this level, so we obviously jumped at the opportunity to add the Stars to the NBL, and we're looking forward to it.”

Williams watched the first three seasons of the NBL-US and was impressed with the exceptional level of talent on display, and the atmosphere of the games.

“We are excited about the opportunity to be able to play in the NBL-US. The NBL-US is a league of opportunities that creates a platform for player development. Our expectations as a team is to compete at a high level on the court and to make impacts off of the court in the lives of others we serve in our community". Corey Williams Owner of the Stars stated.

The Stars will begin their first season in the NBL beginning March,2023.

The Stars program has provided a pathway for many professional players over the years, that will now include future Stars players from ages 16 and up.
